The Koyemsi is usually the one who play games, like guessing games and balancing acts, with the children in the audience.
Silas Roy was born in Tuba City, Arizona on June 6th, 1948. He is Hopi and is part of the Coyote Clan. His dolls have excellent motion, detail, and proportion. Silas is an experienced carver, he has been caving since the early 1960's. This Kachina Doll is made of cottonwood root. It measures approximately 10-3/4" tall including 1" base and is 6" wide at its widest points. Kachina is signed on the bottom of the base "Silas Roy".
