Kachina is 5-1/4" tall including 1" base, and 4-1/4" wide at widest points.
Excellent Motion and paint work in this carving! This doll is packed with detail, especially int he wings and feathers. The Snipe or Patszro Kachina appears in the Kiva Dances before and after the important Powamu ceremony. His function is about the same as all other bird Kachinas that appear around this time.

This Kachina Doll is made of cottonwood root. It measures approximately 5-1/4" tall including 1" base and is 4-1/4" wide at its widest points.
