The Mountain Lion or Toho Kachina
appears at Pachavu often accompanied by the Deer Kachina. During this event,
Toho appears as a guard and patrols the procession with yucca whips. During the
Line Dance, he is a side dancer who carries a talavaiyi, a cane with eagle
feathers and red horsehair fringe in his hands. Toho is quite famous nowadays
compared to its rarity five years ago.
